God's Not Dead

**Spoiler alert** If you haven't seen God's Not Dead-- and you don't want to know part of it-- don't read this. So in watching this movie the other day I was faced with some questions I had always asked God as a little girl. When my dad was hit by that drunk-driver, and he didn't die instantly-- did he have a chance to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior? Did he have a second chance to believe and come with Him to heaven? Every-time I asked God this question I got an overwhelming sense that he did. One of the last scenes of this movie hit home for me. "It was God's mercy that brought me here to you, that you did not die instantly. He is giving you a second chance." MERCY. Needless to say I cried so hard during this part of the movie-- I felt God's presence so strongly. Almost like he was showing me a flashback of my daddy, and comforting me through that loss with His truth and hope. Ultimately only my dad and Jesus know what happened that day on the pavement. Of course I hope for the best and believe in His mercy and goodness-- that my dad will be in heaven when I get to come home to Jesus. I want everyone there. We never know when that hour will be. When out of the blue we are at the crossroads of life and death. My dad could have never imagined or known at the age of 33 with a seven year old daughter and a wife left behind--none of us could have known. Here is your second chance-- don't wait. It is your choice, nobody can make it for you. All I know is that I want ALL of you in heaven for eternity. Choose Jesus-- He chose you and He LOVES you more than you could imagine! "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"-John 14:6 SO MUCH LOVE to you all!!
